Last week of term.

It’s been a busy week in SH.  There have been commendations, lost of research into Liss during the Victorian period, as well as some research into our own family history.

The children this weekend are having a go at compiling their own family trees.  We have been making very good use of the 2 week free trial from Ancestry.co.uk  in order to do this.  The children have been using the following document to start building their own family tree.  5generationAncestorChartVitals

We’ve also had our listen 2 me concert.  for those of you lucky enough to join us – weren’t they good!  For those of us who weren’t able to be hear, If you had been listening carefully that afternoon, you might just have heard us.  Boy they were loud!  Ellen kindly acted as class photographer (the year 3 audience can get much closer with the camera than the teachers can).

Last week we also had our final class assembly of the year.  Eddie this time was the fantastic class photographer – well done to all the class photographers this year.

Of course I forgot to mention the excellent actors, musicians and singers in the school production of Macbeth.  Well done to everyone that took part!
