Fishbourne Roman Palace trip

Posted by on June 26, 2019

Year 3 had a wonderful trip to sunny Fishbourne Roman Palace today! They took part in lots of activities, including dressing up as Roman slaves, cooking in a Roman kitchen, writing in old Latin lettering (even Miss Duncan had a go!), and searching for mosaics in the museum. There was also time to explore the scented gardens full of lavender and visit the grumpy gardener! The children represented the school beautifully and are looking forward to using their learning in their upcoming topic lessons. Well done Ash class!
